New Issue of #USFS #StreamNotes: Beaver and Climate Change, Organic Matter in Mountain Channels, etc.
The USFS National Stream and Aquatic Ecology Center has just released a new issue of Stream Notes. My Utah State colleagues, Konrad "K-Rad" Hafen and "Sir" William Wallace (Wally) Macfarlane have the opening track this time around: "Can Beaver Dams Mitigate Water Scarcity Caused by Climate Change and Population Growth?"
Stream Notes drops quarterly and is produced by NSAEC's Steve Yochum and Brett Roper. Subscribe to make sure you get all of the Forest Service's stream hydrology and geomorphology, fisheries biology, and riparian ecology work delivered straight to your inbox.
Check out Konrad's homepage to see more on his beaver and stream ecology projects.
